IRONMAN Lanzarote
Lanzarote's iconic long-distance triathlon: a full IRONMAN shaped by the Atlantic, wind, heat and the island's volcanic terrain.
Event information
About the event
IRONMAN Lanzarote is the island’s flagship long-distance triathlon. The 2026 edition took place on 23 May in Puerto del Carmen, organised by Club La Santa and IRONMAN over the full 3.8 km, 180.2 km and 42.2 km format.
Route and distances
The swim is based at Playa Grande; the bike course uses exposed Lanzarote roads and the marathon is centred on Puerto del Carmen. The challenge is not only the distance: wind, heat and volcanic terrain shape the whole race.
Registration and status
As race day has already passed, 2026 entry should be treated as closed even if the official link remains useful for results, archive information and future editions.
Planning notes
For a future edition, use this page as orientation and always confirm the athlete guide, timetable, check-in, transition rules and IRONMAN regulations on the official website.
