The Font Vella Lanzarote Marathon is the most emblematic marathon in the Canary Islands: 42.195 km of asphalt between volcanoes, vineyards and Atlantic coast. Fast course, mild winter climate and world-class organization.

Weekend schedule (provisional 2026)
- Bib collection: days prior at official area.
- Marathon: morning start from Puerto del Carmen.
- Half Marathon and 10K: same morning, times to be confirmed.
- Finish and post-race services.

Course and terrain
- Surface: 100% asphalt.
- Profile: undulating with moderate climbs and descents.
- Views: volcanoes, coast, La Geria vineyards.
- Aid stations: every 5 km approx.
- Climate: December usually offers 15-22°C.
Race strategy
- Km 0-10: controlled start, manage initial elevation.
- Km 10-30: maintain constant pace, take advantage of flat sections.
- Km 30-42: mental management, hydration and final progression.
