What is it and why run it
La San Rafael Popular Race It is the classic of autumn in Villa de Teguise. Un Urban 5K which combines history and sport: running between cobblestones and centuries-old squares with neighbors and families cheering from the balconies.
It's the perfect opportunity to close October at a good pace, make your debut in a 5K or simply enjoy the atmosphere of the patron saint festivities.
Program of the day (indicative)
- Number collection at the starting area (schedules confirmed the week of the event).
- Children's races and/or inclusive march before the absolute race.
- Absolute 5K at 17:00.

- Type: urban circuit in the historic center.
- Surface: asphalt with cobblestone sections.
- Profile: practically flat; tight turns that make it necessary to manage the race well.

- Km 0—1: controlled exit, avoid funnels in the first bends.
- Km 1—3: stabilizes pace on straights and protects traction on cobblestones.
- Km 3—4: Stay focused on the turns.
- Km 4—5: accelerate as you enter the finish line; the square pushes you to do your last.
Local logistics (to keep everything flowing)
- Parking: on the outskirts of the historic center; arrive in time.
- Warming up: 15—20' soft + progressive on nearby streets.
- Clothes: lightweight and breathable; thin cuffs if it cools.
