Can you imagine swimming while a plane roars right above? El Saturday, September 6, 2025 The maritime avenue of Honda Beach (San Bartolomé) becomes your private water lane. The 5 km start in Arrecife and continue close to the coast; the 1 and 2 km races are held in front of the promenade, so close to the audience that you will hear every applause. Organize Tripasión Events, synonymous with fine assembly and beach atmosphere: steel dolphins flying above your head and salty foam setting your pace.

📍 Modalities of participation

• 5 km — Arrecife → Playa Honda | Great scoring fund for the Canary Islands Cup (≥ 14 years old).
  
  
• 2 km — Cable Swim | Ideal intermediate section for people who are already asking for distance.
  
  
• 1 km — Kids & Popular | Marked loop in front of the promenade: first challenge for fry and master.

🌅 Blue corridor with turbine soundtrack

Horn blow, red buoy and heading south: the Atlantic is aligned with the airport runway. Normally an earthen breeze blows and the background alternates golden sand with tongues of solidified lava. The final stretch passes a few meters from the promenade — the perfect grandstand — before stepping on the finish carpet next to the Civic Center. The roar of a Boeing merges with the heartbeat of your strokes.

🎶 Beach party from start to finish

From dawn, food-trucks, DJ sets and surf workshops fill the square. Neighbors and tourists who cycle the avenue make a technical stop to cheer you up. After the test, a popular lunch, a raffle of material, a children's foam party and an acoustic concert at sunset: a perfect excuse to stay in Playa Honda all day.
